Twitter Applications (Part – 24)

More twitter applications. If you have developed any such twitter mash up, feel free to send me an email about it. I will be happy to include in the list. Please first check here whether your application is already included or not.

185. Tweetag : Tweetag gives you a unique way to browse through Tweetag all the public tweets published on. The Tweetag homepage displays the 40 most frequent topics being discussed on Twitter (based on our automatic tagging system). The size of each tag represents its relative importance. It means you can tell what most people are talking about at a glance. By selecting certain tags, you can also define the scope of your search and discover new topics related to them. You can add tags to the selection by clicking on them. A click on a tag in the "selected tags" bar removes it from the selection.

186. TwittFriends : TwittFriends is a service based on the Twitter API  and lets you know how are you connected with your friends. When you sign in, you will get a list of all your friends, at this moment you can start discovering how is your Twitter network created. Select a friend and see it's friends, which ones you have in common and the ones you don't, discover which ones of your tweets has favouritized from you and much more info!

187. TwitterGallery : As name suggests, TwitterGallery provides nice twitters themes to customize your twitter page and follow me buttons. Its free.  Theme can be installed just with a single click. Provide your user name and password. You can search themes based on predefined categories or colors. You can also submit your own themes.

188. TweetStalk : Sometimes you want to follow someone on image Twitter, but you don't want them to know you're following them. TweetStalk is the simple way to stalk Twitter users without having to follow them. What you have to do is Download and install the Firefox Add-on. Restart Firefox and then go to a Twitter account you want to stalk. Click on the Stalk Button and you are done.

189. TweetValue : TweetValue tells you how much your twitter profile is worth. The value is calculated with a Ph.D algorithm that is based on the public information available on your Twitter profile. enter your twitter user id and click on “Get my Value”. It also provides html code to put this badge on your site or blog. On front page, you can see some of the highest values twitter users.

190. Twitpay : Twitpay is a simple way to send payments via Twitter.  Twitpay works seamlessly with the way you currently interact with Twitter. You are used to using d or @ to direct Twitter or send replies, then you already know how to use Twitpay.

Say for example that you want to give $5 to Evan Williams (CEO of Twitter) via Twitpay. All you need to do is use the Twitter web site or a Twitter client and enter:

@ev twitpay $5 for great service

You can send a payment in any increment between $0.01 and $50.00. Check out these FAQs for mode details.

191. Twistory : "You didn't realize it, but you really want those image Twitter messages in your calendar". Twistory provides an iCalendar feed (think iCal, Google Calendar, ...) allowing you to easily browse through your Twitter backlog. Tweets are added immediately without any delay. It also helps you to track time. Start your tweets with both t or /t and Twistory will keep track of what you're doing.

192. Twittonary : The Twitter Dictionary aka Twittonary provides image explanations of various Twitter related words. You can search the entire Twitter Dictionary or by single word using their letter of the alphabet.

Wow... great list of all the tools and applications... it will grow and grow.. and then some will fade away- it seems like a never ending process.. I know!!
