Twitter Applications (Part – 7)

49. twizon : As name suggests, twizon is a twitter & Amazon mash up.  Twizon lists all the tweets referencing Amazon deals. If love shopping on amazon and want to lets other know about it, then twizon is for you.

50. MadTwitter : MadTwitter is a Windows application that lets you image read “twits” written by your friends and publish your own. Using it is really easy. First, register for an account at Twitter, download MadTwitter and install it. First time you have to configure it. Once configured it will stay at the bottom of your desktop (in the systray) showing itself when you receive new “twits”. Clicking on its icon will show the main window where you can write your “twits”.

51. Happy TwitDay : Happy TwitDay is an interesting application that image allows you to send sweet birthday tweets to your friends. Follow @HappyTwitday on Twitter to know when your Twitter friends’ have their birthday. Site allows you to search by Twitter username and date. It then lists Twitter users celebrating their birthday along with number indicting the how many times they were wished Happy Birthday.

52. Chirrup : Chirrup is comment system which uses Twitter as a image datastore. Here how it works:

1. People send Twitter replies to you about your site
2. Chirrup fetches all of the replies from Twitter, and sorts them by URL so you can have a comment feed for each page in your site
3. You put the comments wherever you want them, and style them however you please.

53. Twitag : Twitag is a #tag finder for Twitter. It facilitates and imageorganizes the most recent content tagged by users. You can see, group and share #tags. A useful tool to group posts related to live events (meetings, conferences, games), services (traffic, weather, emergency), memes, and so on.

54. Twitterverse : Twitterverse is a site that makes a fancy little tag cloud of the most-imageused words on Twitter. It’s a visualization project from Ideacodes Labs which mines and aggregates words from twitter’s public timeline. It is a “tag cloud” created from from Twitter’s public feed. It gives you a idea of what topics(keywords) are being discussed over your particular time frame.

55. Twitter Spectrum : Site provides excellent search capability for imageTwitter data. Enter two things to compare separated by a comma.  One topic is colored blue, the other red, and the associated words are colored and positioned based on how highly they are associated with the two topics. Click on any word to see the related tweets. Some examples: 'love,hate' or 'from:jasoncalacanis,from:scobleizer' or 'england,france'

56. TwitArcs : Enter a twitter ID with the leading '@' or a word. TwitArcs takes the imagelatest 100 tweets for a twitter ID or term of interest and creates a list representation that has arcs connecting messages sent to the same users or that use the same primary term. You can click on the left side to load the tweets for a new user, on the right side to load the tweets for a specific term, and in the middle to visit the actual tweet.
