Scribd Announced New FREE Service to Convert Your Paper to iPaper

image Convert Your Paper to iPaper is a program at Scribd where it will scan and OCR your paper documents and publish them on the internet for free (for a limited time only). You just send us the documents in the mail - it will take care of the rest.

This service is free. However they will offset the cost of scanning by serving relevant advertisements on scanned documents.

Scribd uses highly advanced scanning technology to scan and OCR documents at high volume. Scanners can scan almost any written documents, but be sure to contact them for details about your particular materials.

Email information about your paper documents to paper@scribd.com. Include an estimate of the number of pages you have. A Scribd representative will reply with information about how and where to mail the documents.

There are some additional restrictions. To use the "Convert Your Paper to iPaper program", you must:

1. Have full legal rights to any content you send to scribd.
2. Not be in a hurry. It will take time - weeks, at least - to get your content scanned.
3. Agree to have your content published on Scribd.com.

Notice that Scribd may choose not to scan your materials. This program will be available for a limited time only.
