HBO on Broadband : For Limited Markets Now

HBO is putting it's leg on broadband. HBO on Broadband will roll out in limited areas tomorrow - and later on will be available to other markets shortly.

Subscribers to HBO or the high-speed Internet service won't be charged extra for HBO on Broadband. However, all others will have to pay a fee. HBO on Broadband is not a standalone service; one must have digital cable service (including HBO and HBO On Demand), along with Road Runner, in order to take advantage of this free enhancement to your HBO subscription. In fact, you must be connected via Road Runner in order to download new movies and shows (although you can watch previously downloaded content anywhere).

HBO on Broadband will offer 600 titles and 400 hours of downloadable content, including movies, documentaries and original series like "The Sopranos" and "Six Feet Under."
