CompTIA Presents Best of Show Awards at Breakaway on August 2, 2007 at Las Vegas, Nev. Four companies at the forefront of technology innovation and customer satisfaction were recognized here night with best of show awards presented at the Computing Technology Industry Associations annual Breakaway conference.
Winners of the CompTIA Breakaway Best of Show awards were selected based on the voting of more than 200 VIP value-added resellers and technology solution providers who attended the conference.
"This years Breakaway Solutions Pavilion featured exhibits and presentations from more than 120 companies in our industry, said John Venator, president and chief executive officer, CompTIA. "The fact that these four companies were singled out by their reseller partners for special recognition is testament to the quality of their products and solutions, and the high-level of service they are providing to their customers and business partners."
Intel Corporation, Santa Clara, Calif., the world leader in silicon innovation, and a developer of technologies, products and initiatives to continually advance how people work and live, won three awards at Breakaway: Best Product Hardware, Best Presentation and overall Best of Show.
eFolder, a provider of world-class IP-based backup services headquartered in Atlanta, won the awards for Best Product Software and Best Channel Strategy.
The award for Best Solutions Sales Strategy went to Websense, Inc., of San Diego, Calif., a premier provider of Web security and information leak prevention software.
Ingram Micro of Santa Ana, Calif., the world's largest technology distributor and a leading technology sales, marketing and logistics company, won the Breakaway Best of Show award for Best Distribution and Support.
Breakaway, the IT industry's premiere partnering and educational event, was held this week at the Mirage Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. This years conference is also the culmination of CompTIAs 25th anniversary celebration.
