Cuil Goes To iPhone

Cuil released their search engine somewhere in July last year. It had created a good amount of buzz on blogosphere. One of the reason is its indexing capability. Cuil claimed that it has indexed 120 billion Web pages, three times more than any other search engine.

Company today announced first mobile optimized version of Cuil, bringing new approach to search to the iPhone. To access the new mobile optimized version of Cuil, just point Safari on your iPhone or iPod Touch to cuil.com.

Direct access to information is important when you’re out and about, so Cuil has streamlined the results display and bring you a condensed list of search results in a finger-friendly format. Want to read the long snippets, just tap the ‘More’ button on a result. If you prefer the full result layout, just tap the ‘Classic Mode’ link at the bottom of the search results.
