Support for 9 more languages to Google Desktop for the Mac

In April Google launched Google Desktop for the Mac. Google has added support for 9 more languages to Google Desktop for the Mac. These include Chinese Simplified and Traditional, Dutch, UK English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish. There's more on this on the Desktop for Mac site. All current users will be updated to the latest and greatest automatically.

"Google Desktop for the Mac gives users fast, easy, and comprehensive search. So with this launch, we worked side by side with Googlers in Japan, France, Germany, and many other countries to make sure the product meets that goal in each of the 9 new languages. Part of that work was improving search and indexing support for non-Roman languages such as Chinese and Japanese."

Note: This update will most likely require a reboot and will create a new index of the information on your computer, to improve the quality of searches across all languages.
