What’s Wrong With Google Earth ?

Recent update to google earth data causes some issue with its map. New map shows some part of Arunachal Pradesh, India as a part of China. Google admitted this mistake and apologised for the same.

A spokesperson for Google said in a statement that “Earlier, this week, as part of routine update to Google earth, we published new data for the Arunachal Pradesh region that changed the depiction of certain place names in the product. The change was a result of a mistake in our processing of new map data,”

Google Earth is a free tool which enables you to view satellite imagery, maps, terrain, 3D buildings, from galaxies in outer space to the canyons of the ocean. You can explore rich geographical content, save your toured places, and share with others.
