HTC Corporation, a global designer of smartphones, announced it has acquired Paris-based Abaxia, a leader in custom software for mobile operators and handset manufacturers around the world.

Founded in 2001, Abaxia is a leading software developer specializing in mobile solutions that quickly promote and monetize operator and handset manufacturer services on smartphones.
Abaxia has 22+ million software deployments, across 36 countries on 60 different handset models with tier-1 network operators, and 10 global technical contracts with major handset manufacturers.
